adminFollowing the time-honored Thanksgiving tradition of going around the dinner table to tell others what you are thankful for, I thought it would be neat to capture that spirit in this week’s blog. I posed the question to some of my fellow team members at Messiah Lifeways around our virtual Thanksgiving dinner table, “Why are you thankful for working at and/or being a part of Messiah Lifeways?” As the responses have come pouring in, it’s been wonderful to hear such heartfelt, honest, and compassionate answers. “I am thankful to be working at Messiah Village. Being a faith-based/church associated/not-for-profit facility makes such a BIG difference in staffing levels, programing for the residents, and various benefits for the staff. While faith is not a requisite for employment, the focus on our Core Values causes them to permeate the neighborhoods and encourages the staff in their response and service to the residents.”

Though I have a number of reasons to be thankful for being a part of Messiah Lifeways, I’d like to end by saying how thankful I am to our team members for sharing their fantastic responses to this question.
