adminThe Singing Men, Messiah Village’s beloved singing group, closed their spring season with a standing-room only concert in the Chapel on Sunday evening, June 14. Outgoing director, L. Nelson Wingert sang a solo to kick-off the program. Wingert has been faithfully serving as the director – a volunteer position – for the past 26 years. Wingert was gifted with a signed, framed photograph featuring signatures of all the men and the accompanist, Marilyn Ebersole. Midway through the program, Wingert turned over the baton to Vern Martin who will assume leadership of the singing group. The concert offering was nearly $450, designated for the Endowment Fund.
