In early October, President Curt Stutzman announced the selection of Kelli J. Mills to serve as the new Vice President of Residential Services and Operations. Kelli brings a deep knowledge of our heritage and history, in addition to her passion for serving older adults. Kelli most recently served as Messiah Village’s Senior Director of Residential Communities and Campus Services. Kelli has worked in various roles since she was an intern in college, and has served in Residential Living leadership since 2009. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Millersville University, and will undertake a Master’s program in Health Administration next year. She has a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license and has served at Messiah Village several times in her career as an Assistant NHA. Her experience and unique skill set will be a great asset as she gives executive oversight to many departments at Messiah Lifeways at Messiah Village, including Residential Living and Campus Services, Dining Services, the Wellness Center, and Salon Services. In addition, Kelli will oversee the growing operations of the Mount Joy Country Homes campus in Lancaster County. “I love older adults, especially Messiah Village residents, and have been passionate about enhancing their lives since I was a teenager. I am excited for this new adventure and look forward to serving the Lord in this expanded role.” Kelli has a passion for teamwork and collaboration and says her greatest pleasure is watching a colleague “get it” and then become successful in using their God-given gifts. Kelli and her husband David live in Mechanicsburg with their children. Their hobbies include traveling and watching their children participate in sports. A search for a Residential Living Administrator is underway as Kelli transitions into this new role. The search for a new Vice President of Health Services is also ongoing.
