Messiah Lifeways President & CEO to Retire in 2021

MECHANICSBURG, PA (March 8, 2021)— The President & CEO of Mechanicsburg-based senior care organization, Messiah Lifeways, has announced his intentions to retire at the end of 2021.

“I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to serve the Messiah Lifeways community,” said Curt Stutzman, who has served as President & CEO since 2013. “These past years have had many victories and challenges, and I will be leaving having grown significantly both personally and professionally. I feel a great sense of satisfaction in the accomplishments of Messiah Lifeways during my tenure.”

Messiah Lifeways’ board of directors has contracted with the independent search firm, North Group Consultants, to assist with the search for the next President & CEO, which is already underway.

“In the year 2021, Messiah Lifeways will celebrate 125 years of ministry to older adults,” Stutzman continued. “It seems especially fitting that the baton of leadership be passed on to another person who will help cast vision and move the organization forward into a future of possibilities.”

Opportunities to express gratitude and well wishes to Mr. Stutzman and his family will be published at MessiahLifeways.org at a later date, as well as updates regarding the new candidate search and future transition.
