Messiah Lifeways partners with Cumberland County and New Cumberland Borough to sponsor the West Shore Senior Center
Ribbon Cutting to take place on August 24, 2021
NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa — In partnership with Cumberland County and New Cumberland Borough, Messiah Lifeways has taken on the role of sponsor for the West Shore Senior Center (WSSC) in New Cumberland, PA, effective July 1, 2021. In recognition of this new chapter for the WSSC, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on the front lawn on Tuesday, August 24 beginning at 10:00 am at 122 Geary Ave, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
“For several years, Messiah Lifeways has had an ongoing partnership with Cumberland County and the Mechanicsburg Borough to sponsor Mechanicsburg Place,” said Christina Weber, Senior Director of Community Support Services at Messiah Lifeways. “So when we were invited by Cumberland County to sponsor another senior center, this time with New Cumberland Borough, we were honored and excited for the opportunity to extend our mission of enhancing the lives of older adults further into the community.”
WSSC members, local and state dignitaries, Messiah Lifeways representatives, and other interested parties will be in attendance.
