Donor generosity led to surpassing 2023 year-end giving goal

The generosity of our donors gives us a reason to celebrate the start of a new year!

Beginning on Giving Tuesday in November, we set out to raise $100,000 for our Current Year Benevolence. In just 33 days, from Giving Tuesday to the end of the year, our incredible donors helped us raise $102,000 to put us over the goal for our calendar year!

Here are some noteworthy giving highlights: 

• $10,000 gift from the Messiah Lifeways^® at Messiah Village Auxiliary

• $1,000+ donated by the community during the annual
  Holiday Drive-Through

• Nearly 200 individual gifts from $5 – $10,000

In 2022-2023, we were able to provide more than 60 residents with love and care despite, through no fault of their own, having outlived their resources. Your gifts to our Benevolent Fund—having helped us exceed our goal—will help care for residents in need this fiscal year.
