Return to Latest COVID-19 Team Member Updates
Harambee. In Kenya, when people have a big job in front of them, they rally the community for Harambee. The word literally means all get together and push. Maybe Jesus was thinking of Harambee when he said “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” (Matt. 18:19). Let’s get together and Harambee in prayer for Messiah Lifeways during this season! Here’s how you can join in.
A prayer initiative has been organized as a way to keep us grounded and anchored in this Hope that sustains us in trying times. We come together on behalf of one another, the residents, and the families we serve knowing God will hear us and respond with compassion to our cries as we unite our hearts in prayer for the needs of our community.
If you are interested and able, please consider committing to a daily block of time (morning, midday, evening, nighttime) during which you will pray over Messiah Lifeways throughout the next weeks. Daily Prayer Points with an accompanying Scripture have been pulled together to help guide your prayer time. See the dail prayer points below.
