Andrea Britton

Associate Director of Leadership Giving, Dickinson College

Andrea Britton and her husband, Paul Roman, live in Harrisburg, PA. Andrea and Paul are Messiah University alumni (’07 and ’09) and donors. Andrea received her B.A. in Psychology, which led to a variety of career experiences with the common thread of being people-facing and people-oriented. Andrea’s grandmother lived at Messiah Lifeways® as a Nittany/skilled care resident from 2005-2013. Outside of her professional endeavors in the field of development work, Andrea performs as a solo artist locally and in two bands, Whistler Road and Downtown Sound. Since 2012, Andrea and Paul have both been heavily involved in the worship ministry at Harrisburg BIC. Andrea has lived on three other continents (South America, Australia, and Europe) and speaks proficient Spanish and Modern Greek. She enjoys traveling, cooking, golf, time in nature, yoga, civic engagement, writing/performing music, and spending time with friends and family over a great cup of coffee. 

Jennifer Dose, Ph.D.

Professor of Management, Messiah University

Jennifer Dose earned a B.A. in Business and Psychology from Wittenberg University and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Ohio State University. Jennifer has been a professor at Messiah University since 2000. She currently teaches courses in human resource management, leadership, personal finance, and the College’s common course, “Created and Called for Community.” She served as Business Department Co-Chair from 2008-2015 and wrote the department’s accreditation self-study. Her research interests include faith integration, group decision-making, and selection. She has published articles in the Journal of Human Resource Education, Journal of Biblical Integration in Business, Human Resource Management Review, Group Dynamics, and the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Biblical Integration in Business and is a peer reviewer for several other publications. Jennifer also currently serves on the Board of the Christian Business Faculty Association.

Ethan Eshbach

Corporate Relations Manager and Lead Consultant, Clark Associates

Ethan Eshbach is a graduate of Messiah University with a B.A. in Communication and Public Relations. Currently, he works at Clark Associates in Lancaster where he has served as a Corporate Relations Manager and Lead Consultant. Prior to Clark Associates, Ethan worked for Brethren Village and Mennonite Economic Development Associates. Ethan has served on the Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church Board and the Board of Allegro Orchestra Lancaster. He and his wife and two children live in Lancaster and attend Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church.

Raeann R. Hamon, Ph.D., CFLE

Chair of Human Development & Family Science, Messiah University

Raeann R. Hamon earned her B.A. in Behavioral Science with a minor in Family Studies from Messiah University. She also earned her M.S. and Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Family Studies, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. Raeann has worked at Messiah University since 1986, and she is currently Chair of the Department of Human Development and Family Science and Distinguished Professor of Family Science and Gerontology. She teaches courses in family dynamics, family life education methodology, interpersonal relationships, psychology of aging, and sociology of aging. Her Elder Service Partner Program, which pairs college students with older adults to volunteer together for the semester, received a Program of Distinction Award from Generations United. Raeann has produced four books and a four-volume encyclopedia. She is a Fellow of the National Council on Family Relations, Chair-elect of the International Section of the National Council on Family Relations, Treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic Council on Family Relations, a member
of the PA State Action Team for Family and Consumer Sciences, and an active member of the Family Science Association.

Glen Heise, M.D.

Retired Medical Director, Capital Blue Cross

Glen Heise earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Messiah University, where he met his wife, Wanda. They were married in 1971. From 1974 – 1976, Glen and Wanda served as short-term missionaries in Nicaragua with the Brethren in Christ Church. On their return to Harrisburg, Glen resumed his studies, graduating from Penn State Hershey with his M.D. degree in 1982, and completing a residency in Family Medicine at Harrisburg Hospital in 1985. For 20 years, he practiced as a family physician at the Dillsburg Family Health Center. For part of that time, he also served as Medical Director for Holy Spirit Hospital’s Spirit Physician Services, a group of medical offices in four counties in the Harrisburg area. From 2005 until retiring in 2021, Glen worked as a Medical Director in the health insurance field, first with Pennsylvania’s Office of Medical Assistance Programs, and most recently with Capital Blue Cross.

Kimberly Henderson

Special Counsel, Disciplinary Board of PA Supreme Court

Kimberly Henderson earned her B.A. in History with a minor in Sociology from Eastern Mennonite University and her J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. While in law school, Kimberly interned for the Honorable John F. Cherry in the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. She previously worked at a large civil defense firm and has been an Assistant Public Defender. Kimberly has represented individuals and businesses in a variety of cases in many different aspects of the legal process. In 2020, she was hired as Special Counsel at the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to provide guidance and support to the Board’s more than 170 volunteer hearing committee members. Kimberly and her husband live in York Haven.

Michael Hoffner, CPA

Managing Partner, McKonly & Asbury

Michael Hoffner is Managing Partner at McKonly & Asbury. He is responsible for implementing the strategic vision of the firm and works closely with the leadership team in executing strategies. Additionally, he has expertise in Assurance Services, is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, and leads the firm’s Systems and Organization Controls practice. Michael serves clients in several industries including manufacturing and distribution, construction and engineering, technology, and employee benefit plans. He also performs external peer reviews for accounting firms around the country. Prior to joining the firm more than a decade ago, Michael was a Senior Manager for an international accounting firm, where he served a variety of industries including construction, financial services, and healthcare, and as an instructor in the firm’s national training program. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Messiah University, where he earned his B.S. in Accounting.

Donna Martin, BSN, NHA

Retirement Community Executive Director, Retired

Donna Martin is a BSN graduate of West Virginia University. She was certified as a Nurse Administrator, as a Gerontology Nurse, and obtained her Nursing Home Administrator License. Her Director of Nursing work experience included managing a 195-bed nursing home and working with an NHA to open a 60-bed nursing home. As an Executive Director of a retirement community, she managed the construction of additional villas/cottages, additional assisted living apartments, and a swimming pool/fitness/exercise space. Donna and her husband, Herb, live at Messiah Lifeways and are members of Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church. They are blessed with two children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She enjoys reading, sewing, knitting, and traveling.

Mitchell Martin, CPA

Director of Finance and Shared Services, Brethren in Christ U.S.

Mitchell Martin works for Brethren in Christ U.S. as the Director of Finance and Shared Services. In this role, Mitch oversees the departments of human resources, communications, and finance. Prior to working for BIC U.S., Mitch was employed as an auditor for five years with the public accounting firm Hamilton & Musser, PCs, CPAs, in Mechanicsburg, PA. During his time with Hamilton & Musser, he worked specifically with faith-based organizations and churches. Mitch earned his B.S. in Accounting from Messiah University and is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner. 

Kyle Petty, CFP®

Assistant Vice President and Financial Planner, Orrstown Bank

Kyle Petty is an Assistant Vice President and a Financial Planner at Orrstown Bank and has worked with the bank since 2011. He graduated from Grace College with a B.S. in International Business and Business Administration. In 2020, he earned his Certified Financial Planner designation. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Carlisle Kiwanis Club and is a board member of Leadership Cumberland. He resides in Dillsburg with his wife and three children.

Jon Stuckey, Ph.D.

Vice President for Advancement, Messiah University

Jon Stuckey is the Vice President for Advancement at Messiah University.
He arrived at Messiah in 2000 to launch and direct the Grants Office. He is a graduate of Malone College in Canton, OH, and completed his doctoral work in sociology (with an emphasis on social gerontology) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland. After completing his graduate work, Jon worked as a medical research sociologist for 10 years at the University Alzheimer Center, an affiliate of CWRU. His research focused on health implications of social relationships among older adults and on the impact of religion and spirituality on those living with dementia and their caregivers. Jon previously served on the Messiah Lifeways Board (2006-2018), in addition to boards for the Polar Bear Foundation for the Northern York County School District and Ten Thousand Villages in Mechanicsburg. He is also past Chair of the Board for the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Jon is married to Shari Taylor-Stuckey, a high school English teacher in Hershey, and they have two daughters, Taylor and Blake.

Delbert Turman

President, Susquehanna Insurance

Delbert Turman earned his B.S. in Marketing from Messiah University. He is the President of Susquehanna Insurance in Lancaster, PA, which is an independent insurance agency providing personal, business, and employee benefits coverage throughout Central PA. Delbert is involved in the management of the agency with a focus on sales and marketing activities.  He works with large businesses throughout the Atlantic Region in managing their insurance programs. He has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Designation.

David Warren

Vice President of National Markets, Everence

David Warren serves as Vice President of National Markets at Everence, supervising a national team of financial and charitable consultants serving both individuals and institutions. He is also a member of the leadership team of the Everence Foundation, building on his more than 20 years of leadership in the field of philanthropy. Dave’s background includes leadership positions in international economic development, higher education, and public broadcasting. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College and his B.S. in Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Dave also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation. He is the former board chair at Grantham Brethren in Christ Church and is currently on the church’s finance committee. Dave is also past president of the Susquehanna Valley Planned Giving Council.
